Ok...so (sheds a tear). Modest Mouse is playing 4 days here and I thought that it would not be hard to get a ticket like a week ago. Boy was I wrong. Completley sold out! All 4 days. This makes me mad. It used to be that you could buy your ticket at least only a week in advance and I tought since they were playing for 4 days that it would be all good. Damn it...why do bands that I love always have to go and get so trendy. I still love them, but F*ck.

Re: Sold out in Portland
Tue, November 30, 2004 - 7:24 PMTotally. Fuck self-conciousness. It could be a really great experience and you'd regret it for as long as you love Modest Mouse. Just mace any guy that gets too close or starts talking to you. -

Re: Sold out in Portland
Tue, November 30, 2004 - 7:30 PMi think i'm leaning towards that sentiment.
plus it's for the last show on the 16th.
stupid self-conciousness...
thanks for putting it so bluntly btw. i think i would totally regret it if i didn't go...
much like i regret not going to the pixies in the early nineties... or in bend a couple months ago (couldn't afford to go.) -

Re: Sold out in Portland
Fri, December 17, 2004 - 7:31 PMwell, i went. but i scored another ticket for a friend so i didn't go alone.
it was good. i quite enjoyed myself. bought a tshirt so i wouldn't buy more beer... 5 was plenty and i still had to drive home... noticed they were selling the bitter buffalo tee for 20 bucks... you can buy that from up records for 10... oh well. i did feel a little old though. (i'm 27). it seemed to be very young crowd, which isn't bad... means the beer and bathroom lines are short.
all in all, good show.
